This paper presents a short examination of gender entrepreneurship in general and within the accounting profession, aiming to briefly explain the challenges faced by women and the opportunities available for them to thrive as entrepreneurs in this field. The study explores the multifaceted dynamics of gender inequality and its impact on women's entrepreneurial endeavors, while highlighting the strategies that can facilitate their success. The paper aims at the same time to contour the profile of a woman entrepreneur in general and in the accounting profession specifically.
